Hi there. Just took a peak at the web cam after hearing vocalizing /
figuring whoever was in the nest box would hop out.
3 for sure? two with their backs to the camera, and the middle facing out?

Today’s banding went very well and as always a great group of people turned out to meet there peregrine family.
It turns out that there are 4 boys this year all in great health. The adults were busy fending off the intruders on the swing stage during the banding and at one point O’Connor decided to just have a snack and wait for volunteer Kathy to give the chicks back see picture. Christine from property manage had sent out to all tenants a request for names for this offspring and had some wonderful submissions. A draw was done to select the names thanks so much to everyone who sent in the names and who came to watch the banding.
Here is the information on this years brood and bands. colored tape was placed on the Silver band to help the fledge watch team keep track of and identify each chick from street level.
first chick-named Falk weighed 610 grams black band Y34 has blue tape
Second chick-named Charlie weighed 575 grams black band Y35 has Yellow Tape
Third chick-named Lashay weighed 565 grams black band Y36 has White tape

Hi Mark, Richard and I checked in on Joe and Virginia on our way back from Pelee. Doesn’t look like a hatch yet. We watched for an hour and she didn’t move. Joe sat nearby on a tree. We’ll check again soon and keep you posted. Cheers,
Lucie

Hi Mark!
Richard and I are in Beachville. Looks like there are eggs!
We have confirmed by their leg band numbers that it’s still the same resident adult pair Joe and Virginia!!
