The banding at the 18 King St. East nest site was a phenomenal success as the 4 healthy hatchlings were banded, sexed and weighed. There were many great folks in attendance and a wonderful day was had by all. The full story with pictures and info is coming soon so check back in!!!!!!!!!!

Toronto King Street Banding - Wednesday May 23rd - 10AM
Ely a 2008 hatch at the 18 King St nest, has 4 chicks with her mate Dipper. They nest on the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. This makes 4 more “grandchicks” for Windwhistler and Erin!
A lovely sibling photo snapped via the webcam at approx. 7 a.m.
This image captured at 8:30 this evening. Nice colour image of the adult.
Taken at approximately 8:15 this morning, the King Street eyases appear to be getting some instructions. Perhaps advice on staying in the shade - it looks like a lovely sunnt morning in Toronto.
Now I know why the eyases grow so quickly! I assumed that in the dark hours they would just sleep. Apparently not. I snapped this off the web cam at 1:30 a.m. Toronto time.
A quick camera check this evening, stopped my heart for a moment. The chicks have disappeared. Then the image refreshed and captured Erin coming in with food. The next image, the four wee ones have already moved down to the other end of the ledge and under the camera. All four are present and accounted for, just in time for a meal
