!!! Big Sister
May 11, 2012 - Toronto - King Street
Linda Woods Reports:
Looks like there is at least one female. It appears she may be taking on a little baby sitting duties, while Erin and Windwhistler take a break.

Having spent many, many hours watching the King Street site from Toronto Street, from Court Street, from King Street, etc I was finally rewarded with a view behind the ledge - who knew?
Caught this shot of 4 chicks with Mom Erin. This brings dad Windwhister’s lifetime production to 41 offspring! All seem quite mobile. Depending on order of hatch, at least 2 look like females.
Caught this image waaaay too early this morning of all 3 chicks together on the ledge. It was about 545am. What cute little fuzzies!
Caught feeding time abit later around 620am.
A great image of the little ones after a good meal. I’ve seen Windwhistler today, sitting on the upper south area of the King Edward Hotel.
While in the CPF head office I had opened the King Street camera to check in on Erin and Windwhistler as we know that there has been a hatch but Erin has yet to give us a really good look at the young. I opened the camera up to a feeding of the young ones and for a brief moment, Erin left to remove the leftover food and gave me an awesome look at their newest family members. There are at least three chicks in this picture and these three represent Windwhistler’s 38th, 39th and 40th offspring produced in his 14 years of life. A huge accomplishment and contribution to the recovery of his species!! Congratulations to all!!
Great night time images coming from the new King St. camera.
Many thanks to Dundee Properties for making this possible.
Evening image of mama and her chicks. Taken from webcam,
Sunday May 6th 7:30 p.m.
King St peregrine chicks are doing well, with the adults bringing in hearty meals on a regular basis.
Late tonight and through the overnight, maintenance will be occurring on the entire CPF web site. We are not expecting any hiccups or disruption to the camera images.
However, should this happen, CPF is well aware of the situation and working on getting the website back on line as soon as possible.
We are thanking you in advance for your patience and understanding while this necessary work is completed.
While his son Tiago was feeding his chicks, I checked in on Windwhistler and Erin and caught him on the camera delivering food which she, with her back to me ( of course ) fed for a good couple of minutes.
