Perfect Timing

May 11, 2008 - Toronto - King Street

Linda Woods Reports:

This morning as I watched the webcam,(approx 9:20 a.m.)the female appeared to be a little impatient waiting for the male to bring food for the 3 eyases. She eventually took off and left the three white fluffs on their own. About 10 - 15 minutes later I recieved a call from a staffer at the King Edward Hotel. He stated that he had just seen, what looked to be a Oriole, drop to the sidewalk, AND THEN a large Peregrine Falcon come to the sidewalk to retrieve it. This all happened directly in front of the main entrance to the King Edward Hotel. “Sean” will ask Security at the hotel to see if this was caught on camera. First photo is the female ready to leave after standing over the chicks for a period of time. The second photo is after the female took off and left the three to cuddle.
