While everyone awaits the live pictures from the webcam to be activated, physical watching of the monitor will have to do.
11:25 this morning I was up to the monitor to wait for a hand off of the nest. It wasn’t long before the female appeared on the nest ledge to take over from the male, who was currently on the eggs.
4 eggs confirmed at the King St. nest site.
Regular observations in the Bay Bloor area of the Four Season Hotel, have resulted in very little activity of the peregrines. At this time there is no evidence that nesting is being attempted at this site, at this time.
It’s still early, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Happy Easter Everyone;
Incubation continues at King St. Web Cam is operating and hopefully we will get a feed to the interent this coming week. At this time , the adults are showing behaviour of incubation, but no confirmation of how many eggs as yet.
Happy Easter Everyone,
This afternoon, I found Tiago on the eggs fast asleep, unfortunately I had the incorrect camera with me and was unable to snap a photo. I later check the web cam and found that they had a hand over of the nest and Rhea Mae had returned.
This sent in to me from Jan. Tiago made a visit this morning to the nest and captured it off the webcam. Incubation of the 4 eggs continues.
Back to the Sheraton for a status update, Rhea Mae and Tiago now have two eggs.
A quick look at nest site today, and discovered the first egg has arrived. The adults remain, Rhea Mae from Rochester and Tiago from King St.
The adult falcons are still on site as of Nov 2008.
715AM - Mascota was spotted south of the nest ledge, so it appears there’s still 3 falcons in town
