Incubation continues, we expect a hatch soon perhaps this weekend. Keep watching the webcam and send us an email if you see. Early morning is best when the sun is on the King St ledge.
No hatch yet, 4 eggs showing and Mom taking a break.
Daylight image of 3 eggs, all in a row.
Three eggs for King St. First image was taken during and the last image taken at 01:35
I had been watching the web cam late last night with Erin standing next to the nest bowl and anticipating she may lay the egg on camera. This morning, egg # 2 !
First egg for Windwhistler and Erin.
Image taken this afternoon at 4:25p.m. Look what’s under her tail. I think we have an egg at last.
After standing in the nest bowl for hours and falling asleep, Erin woke up and is now standing on the ledge. No egg in the bowl, not yet.
This is typical of egg laying behaviour. I’ve seen Erin lying down behind the pillar for extended periods of time for the past week, but no eggs. I have not seen her standing near the nest bowl after dusk, yet like she is now. Erin and Windwhistler may be close to having an egg this evening.
