March 28, 2023 - Hamilton - Sheraton Hotel
Marion Nash Reports:
This morning McKeever laid her fourth egg of the season, with our camera catching a great view as it happened. A half hour later, Judson came in to take over incubation duties from her, and we got a clear look at all four eggs. You can see the color differences between the new egg and the older ones, which have picked up a coating of dust. It is possible that McKeever may lay one more egg. We have had five eggs before, but we have never had all five hatch. So, with good weather and close attention from McKeever and Judson, we have high hopes for seeing four tiny peregrine chicks at the beginning of May.

March 26, 2023 - Mississauga - Executive Centre
Marion Nash Reports:
Because the camera is still down we are watching the old fashion way for now. We hope to have the camera up in a few days.
Bruce was out to the site today and reports seeing the changeover of incubation duties and based on what he had seen the last time he was there eggs may have been laid sometime on the last 7 days.
Hopefully we get the camera images up soon.

March 28, 2023 - Etobicoke - Sun Life Centre
Marion Nash Reports:
Looks Romeo hatched at the Etobicoke Hospital in 2017 is trying to move in. So who will win Romeo or Lucky.
Looks like 2 new birds on the nest. Male is Y33 with metal band, female unbanded (I’m naming her Anne, after my wife). There were 3 birds in the area with lots of noise & wonder if Lucky is trying to move back in.
Regards,
Roger

- Kitchener - CTV-Bell Media Tower
Lisa Reh Reports:
Two peregrines were spotted on the tower today. One in the box, one on top rail. They each did several swoops and swirls around the hospital. Finally, they joined each other on the top rail above the nest box. CTV also confirmed on March 21 that the falcons have returned to the nest box!

UPDATE : Well, Canuck is still on site and they are looking like a couple! Things still could change but time is getting close to eggs! It’s been quite snowy and cold here for the past few weeks but spring is around the corner… Here are a few pics from the last few weeks. Canuck is a handsome fellow!
