RZ starts our fledge watch early!!!

Well, we’ve had our first rescue!! Don Mills : RZ came to ground this morning! Think it was a slip and fall, or a bump and fall?? He ended up on the sidewalk where he was found by a construction worker (lots of construction going on there), who scooped him up and placed him by the building. Security called and, as I was only 10 minutes away, I headed over. He was scooped and in the crate before he knew what was happening! Mark met me there and after a quick check over(he was nice and fiesty!), we put him up on the roof! It has a nice retaining wall, as you can see in the picture, so he is safe. Mom and Dad will feed him there and before you know it, he’ll be up and flying!
Evening update: I went by to check on RZ this evening and that cheeky little guy was up on the retaining wall, checking out a whole new world!! Quest came in just before dark and gave him, and then his siblings, a good feed. Bob and I stayed until dark to make sure there were no more slip and falls. Fledge watch has officially begun!!
