Well, its that time again, and we’re looking for your support to join us in Scarborough this weekend as the Scarborough Yellow pages fledge watch will begin.
Any and all of your assistance and support is most welcomed as we are still dealing the usual manpower shortages with five other fledge watches on the go.
We have two additional nest sites that we have been dealing with where we do not have the land owners permissions to go public with and further stressed with manpower resources to cover these two nest sites.
I was called last night during the rain storm to attend one of these nest site to rescue one of the four hatchlings that came our of the nest ledge and ended up in a bad situation. I was able to complete the rescue and will be taking the fledgling to OMNR this evening to be banded and then will return it back it its parents.
