Confirmed this morning, King St has their first hatch of the 2011 nesting season. One confirmed hatched as I suspected yesterday. Egg shell fragments could be seen on the nest ledge beside the adult. Full sun on the ledge gave me an ideal opportunity to see the hatch-ling only for brief moment, but not enough time to capture an image from the camera monitor. I’ll try again tomorrow morning.
