!!! Sad News
July 14, 2008 - Toronto - King Street

Sad news from King St. nest site, Gwenny, one of the female juveniles from the 18 King St. nest has died.
Toronto Animal Services had received a phone call from a King St. west address to report a dead bird. Toronto Animal Services had recognized the banded bird as a local Peregrine Falcon and immediately called the Foundation’s head office.
No other news on why this healthy bird died is available at this time. We will pass along any information as it comes available.
Anyone that may have seen any uncharacteristic peregrine activity in the King and Young St. recently, please email us or call the Canadian Peregrine Foundation.
On July 3rd I posted a photo of Gwenny with her sister Ely.
We welcome any reports of peregrine activity.
