All quiet on fledge watch at Bloor Islington Place. There was some flapping of wings but for the most part the chicks were quiet until mom brought in food again at 6:30. By 7:30 the kids looked like they were getting ready for bed glad since it was supposed to rain.

All 4 chicks still on the nest I think the rain has kept them on the nest. Perhaps one will make the first flight tomorrow.
Bloor and Islington Place fledge watch starts Monday. If you don’t see all the chicks on the nest over the next few days it is because they are under the camera or fledged so look for postings of their progress.
Thankfully the Swing Stage and Sky Reach were set up and ready to go.
It was a wonderful banding event with local Community Visitors, Building Management and Security all watching and participating. Building Management ran a name the chick contest and we drew names for each chick.
Lots of Girls this year and at B.I.P there are 3 girls and 1 boy.
