Banding Day St. Mary’s Cement St. Mary’s Ontario Welcome Knocks and Socks

Thanks to the staff at the plant we were able to once again band the baby peregrines in short order with no difficulties.
May 30th 2022 Hot and humid today and the adults nowhere in site must be off hunting or finding a cool place to hide or bath 2 chicks banded both boys.
612 grams male band 32 over AW named Knocks with blue tape on the silver band
580 grams and a couple days younger male band 33 over AW named Socks red tape on the silver band
Another successful banding for CPF and another 2 boys added to the St. Mary’s Cement plant family.
Now it’s off to Hearn’s Ice Cream shop in St Mary’s which has become an annual tradition for us now for the best soft chocolate ice cream I have ever had and a well deserved cool down before the trip home.
