Yellow Page Site - Report for July 2 & 3, 2012 Quick Check
We did a quick check at the Yellow Page site evening on July 2, 2012
When we arrived around 6:00pm. Things were really quiet. Checked all faces of Yellow Pages building and the Investors Group building (the kitchen), could not find the sight of a single falcon.
So I came back today (July 3) after work (around 6:45pm) hoping to see more action. I was just a little bit luckier only able to spot Linn first on top of the kitchen. She than flew across the parking and perched on one of the chimney stand facing west. She did not seem concern that the fledglings and Reuben were not around. I stayed there with her for awhile before I have to leave for home to make dinner.
So I am starting to think that maybe I was at Yellow Pages too earlier in the evening (between 6:00pm to 7:00pm) that either the fledglings were still napping after the lunch/snack or they were out there learning how to hunt with Reuben.
Note that on July 1 when we were there, there was no sighting of falcons until around 7:15pm when everyone came back from their hunt.
Hopefully, I will see more of them next time I visit.
