Dundee’s 3rd day out of the nest

- All Reports

Zoe Berger Reports:

Harry and I checked Linda’s last view of Dundee from Sunday night and had no luck finding him. After Harry left around 11 to check on the Sheraton site I thought I kept hearing Dundee’s plaintiff crying.  I went around to the back of the King Eddie and finally found him on a short ledge with very good height just below the top windows - pacing back and forth.  It was there I saw the light green tape on his band. He was there for quite awhile vocalizing most of the time - and suddenly he flew southwest. After lots of circling of blocks by me, I ended up at Colborne and Scott and there he was - exactly where his sister had been a few days earlier. I really want to know if he knew she had been there…Spike did many circles above him but he would not move. However, he did not spend as much time there as his sister did thankfully - he flew off to the east side of the King Eddie with terrific height and disappeared heading north. I could not locate him.  Linda radioed a bit after 4 and had a chick west of the condos on Scott south of King. He was too high to get a view of the tape so I do not know if it was him. However, with the terrific height and a few flights today, I think he is doing very well. My only concern is not having seen 4 chicks. I’m not sure if one of the other brothers is missing as I could not see any tapes of the brother who was flying around with his sister all day. They are really close and a joy to watch. She is still VERY vocal as she flies - it is quite hilarious. The two of them spend a lot of time together.   I left around 4:15 after having a visit from Annie and Andreas who popped in on his lunch hour. Linda will post her viewings of tonight.
