Incubation Continues, but we are close
April 30, 2011 - Toronto - King Street
Linda Woods Reports:
A quick visit to the monitor at King St this morning. Incubation continues. The female on the nest around noon today. She was busy pulling gravel closer to her, creating a rim around the eggs (moat) a very active activity. Last week I was seeing the Sheraton birds doing the same thing. Perhaps an indication that we are close to a hatch. I’ve posted a photo from the Buffalo webcam. In the image one can clearly see the rim around the edge of the nesting area.
