Well, its 9:40 pm and all is well, sort of. Joe, the little male that was the first to fledge is still hanging high in a tree where he ended up after his first flight. Both parents brought in food to the three remaining juveniles still on the nest ledge and are stuffed with food and not very active all this evening. Food was brought in at 6:19pm, 7:00pm, and 8:10pm and all three juveniles at the nest box ate their share without much squabbling. At darkness, Joe remains very quiet and almost motionless. Fingers crossed that he stays put until we can get here in the morning, as it is very unlikely that he will be able to get out of the tress and get any altitude given how close he is to the ground.
