!!! 4 Peregrine Chicks Banded

On Friday June 4th a crowd gathered in the Mississauga Executive Centre to view the banding of 4 recently hatched Peregrine Falcon chicks. The chicks were each weighed,sexed,banded and aged. The Canadian,black and white,colour letter marked band denoting them as a species in a recovery program and a US Fish and Wildlife band is put on each chicks legs. The 4 chicks as follows:
Wade: band 16/Y,a male,26 days old,580 grams
Graig:band 17/Y,a male,27 days old
Xuan(Soon):band 19/X,a female,25 days old,880 grams
Joe:band 18/Y,a male,28 days old
