!!! First Egg!

With a huge thank you to the maintenance and engineering staff, we have been able to confirm that the first egg was produced and currently in th nest tray. While the adult female has yet to be identified, both her and her mate have been very active in courtship activities that have resulted in the production of of their first egg. Typical of the hot and humid temperatures that we’ve been having over the past four days, and the fact that she has only just laid the first egg, the pair are not as yet involved in full time incubation activities. We are hopeful that they will continue to produce more eggs over the next week and look forward to a successful hatch.
