!!! Banding Day!! One male & two females

May 26, 2008 - Etobicoke - Sun Life Centre

Mark Nash Reports:

A great day indeed for all involved. The three young hatchlings were banded this morning much to the delight of everyone in attendance that gathered in the east tower lobby of the Sun Life Financial Centre. Three very healthy chicks got their new jewelry and were back on the ledge with their parents in record time - less than 40 minutes! With many thanks to all of the staff at Oxford Properties, security, maintenance, the Ministry of Natural Resources, SkyReach and All Trans Financial the day turned out to be a great success. The three young hatchlings, one male named Perry, and two females named Sunny and Screech. Many thanks to the CPF volunteers that came out to help organize and to Marion for attending the window washers swing stage to extract the chicks from the nest ledge. A huge thank you to Mathew Rossi for taking the photos of the Etobicoke Sun LIfe banding. More photos will be posted in Etobicoke Sun Life photo gallery.

Stay tuned…
