Crack of Dawn

I promised myself this time that I would arrive at the “crack of dawn” in order to witness a “changing of the guards”. Well at 08:00 it has to be “the crack of dawn” somewhere. As I waited the adult was restless on the eggs and I was hopeful that a handing off of the nest was close to happening.
It did about an hour later and at approx 09:15 Rhea Mae appeared on the ledge! and Tiago was more than happy to get up, shake himself off, and leave.
Rhea Mae didn’t leave anytime before she settled on the eggs herself. Finally got a photo of the eggs.
