Baby Picture of Rhea Mae

February 29, 2008 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre

Linda Woods Reports:

With many thanks to Carol from Rochester New York, who was kind enough to send us a baby picture of Rhea Mae. As you have probably noticed, she looks a little different now!

Cute!

Thanks Carol.

Spring is in the air!

February 29, 2008 - Toronto - King Street

Linda Woods Reports:

Despite the bitter cold and more snow, the 18 King Street peregrines were observed talking up a storm of their own today. With many thanks to Joyce in Rochester New York for capturing these photos of the two love birds on the nest ledge. Spring is in the air!!!

Dark Silhouette

February 26, 2008 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre

Linda Woods Reports:

A quick check of the cameras and found them both operating. But there in the shadows was a dark silhouette. Can’t tell who it is, but I bet it’s Rhea Mae.

Dropping by to say Hello

February 25, 2008 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre

Linda Woods Reports:

While checking on the internet camera, Rhea Mae dropped by to say hello. I didn’t see Tiago today, but he is in the area.

Window Washers

February 25, 2008 - Toronto - King Street

Linda Woods Reports:

Window washers were out on 18 King St. today trying to get the clean windows before the peregrines start laying eggs. While they were hanging on their ropes, adult female certainly made them feel unwelcomed. I haven’t seen that behaviour since banding last year. The female made a few passes at the men but then broke off the attack and sat on the condos across the street to supervise their efforts.
