CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square report, Saturday, July 2nd 2011.
I was rudely awoken this morning to the raucous demands of a hungry peregrine. I know the call so did not even get out of bed!
When I arrived to look for the birds this afternoon there was an adult on the TVO antenna and a juvie was eating on the north west corner of the TVO building. I also saw the female on the second ledge south of the nest on Canada Square. There was some activity from the peregrines but not a whole lot during my three hour stint.
Two juvies flew to the TVO building, one successfully aiming for the antenna and the other for the railing around it. He forgot to put on his brakes, landed on the railing and flew right off and landed on the roof. I saw him at the edge a few minutes later. The juveniles flew longer distances today and are maintaining their height although at times some of the landings were a bit dodgy but they made it! The long flights were made from the TVO antenna east around the two condo complexes and up onto the east face of Rio-Can. One long flight was up over the TVO building, over Canada Square, up Duplex to the antenna at 520.
At one point I had no birds in sight until I stretched my legs and found three of them on the antenna up Duplex at 520.
I saw all five peregrines today and I can no longer *suggest* that one or any other is Chester.
At 7:55 p.m. one of the juvies flew north up Duplex, turned around and came back over 411 and onto the top ledge of the Rio-Can building. He landed about midway along the ledge. At 7:57 he flew and I looked to see why and found two people on that ledge (it must be a proper balcony) at the north west end of it. They appeared startled so I really do not think they knew the juvie was there. They disappeared shortly after the juvie flew.
At 8:15 I had lost sight of all the peregrines so I left but did walk across Yonge Street and look back at the Heart and Stroke building. I spotted too peregrines, one on a window *ledge* and one right at the top.

CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square report for Friday, July 1st 2011. Happy Canada day everyone!
I went out late today and for simply ages there was not a peregrine to be seen. Sulking because I wasn’t out earlier??
I saw three young today; two who were really flying high, way over the tall condo tower and the little one which I think is Chester. I also saw mom taking someone for a flying lesson – could this have been young Chester being shown that he can fly higher than he has been? There was nothing out of the ordinary today.
One feeding took place on top of Canada Square and as far as I could see only one juvenile partook of the offerings. One was on the TVO antenna and one sitting on the Canada Square roof whilst the third one ate. Later on I had two juveniles on the Canada Square antenna, one juvenile and one adult on the TVO antenna. There was some flying around and switching of positions.
I saw a turkey vulture fly north to south. Actually it did not fly it simply glided! No effort involved really but for an occasional wing tip flip or flap.
Mom flew in late about 8:30 with food and sat on the NW corner of the TVO building. The little chap on that antenna flew in, squawking madly, was not really high enough and hit the roof top but flew away. Mom in the meantime started the feathers flying and Chester (I am sure it was him) flew in again and this time landed on the roof and tucked into the food parcel. Mom flew to the antenna on TVO.
After fifteen minutes the juvenile was still eating and mom was still perched on the antenna. I left at that point.

CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square report, Thursday, June 30th 2011
I went to the bank before walking over to my favourite perch from which to observe the peregrines. I looked south and north at Yonge Street and found two out of three juveniles. One was sitting on a wall on the Canada Square building and the other was sitting on the roof of the Heart and Stroke building. They were in the shade! This was at 4:05 p.m.
Things became a little active after 4:46 p.m. when one of the juvies flew to the south west corner of the Rio-Can building. After looking at him for a few minutes my eye caught another youngster on the ledge on the west face of the building. I searched for number three but to no avail. However, I did find a pigeon on the same ledge about three window widths away from the juvie. The peregrine on the SW corner sort of buzzed his brother and this gave the pigeon a fright so it immediately launched into flight. It flew south over Duplex Ave., and in hot pursuit was the juvenile from the SW corner. It really was no contest as the pigeon was flying for its life and the peregrine was simply chasing it. Once over the cinema building the pigeon did a few swoops and dives and disappeared and the juvie flew west.
For the next few minutes two juveniles were in the air practising their tag and talon touch skills, over Canada Square, over both of the condo buildings and one even went into a slight stoop towards his brother! Then there was a heart stopping moment for me. I was not sure whether to run and hold out my t-shirt or just stand and hope things were okay. Running was out of the question so I stayed and watched the two juveniles *playing tag and talon touch* and then they grabbed talons and began a fall! My heart was in my mouth as they fell about three floors. Fortunately they were high to begin with and as the one squawked his protest they let go and flew in different directions! Pheeeew!
Maggie and Lance kept me company for a long while and after seeing one of the juveniles landing on the north west corner of Rio-Can Lance suggested that it might be Chester! We all had a look and agreed with him. The landing had been *Chester-like*, a bit unsteady and barely high enough!
Once Lance had left and gone to the mall, Maggie and I saw an adult come in with a pigeon and attempt to fly to the top of Rio-Can but just did not quite make it and flew out, circled and came back with the same result so it flew to the north side of Canada Square and landed on the top ledge there. One of the juvies flew in with a great flurry of wings but did not stay there and flew to the roof. After much activity from the other peregrines it finally hit Chester (NW corner of Rio-Can) that something was happening and he flew north over 411 Duplex round to the east side of Heart and Stroke and eventually ended up on the antenna on top of Canada Square.
At roughly 7:30 p.m. I had one juvenile on the north ledge, two juveniles on the antenna and mom feeding on a different pigeon from the one dropped earlier. The adult male flew in much later and went around the side of Rio-Can and was gone from sight. After this there was a pause in action and then two of the juvies flew, did a half hearted tag and talon touch and disappeared around the side of the Rio-Can building. Eventually mom flew too and actually looked as if she was about to land on the south face of the Rio-Can building but changed her mind and flew along 411 Duplex and out of sight. I chose this moment of no action to call it a day and left. It was a very satisfying afternoon. The two older juveniles are flying strongly and Chester is now able to get the height needed to fly well above the Rio-Can building.

CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square report, Wednesday, June 29th 2011
I arrived today and Bruce was just a few minutes behind me. He immediately set off on his walkabout to look for the peregrines. Said he was going to check all the nooks and crannies again.
Just after he left I spotted a juvie on the building which has the antenna on it, atop the TVO building. The little chap was right at the north east corner right in the sun – flat out! Once in a while he he got up looked about and settled down again. Similar behaviour to yesterday.
Gradually different peregrines became active from different spots: one from the east side of the Canada Square building and a couple of them from east of the TVO building. I was also treated to a *game * of tag and talon touching by two of the juveniles who are flying quite well now. There was more to come!
At exactly 5:09 p.m. I had five peregrines! There were two which I had followed all the way from around the TVO building. over Canada Square to the east side of the Rio-Can building, two were in the air over the TVO building and Chester was the little peregrine taking it easy in the sun near the antenna on top of the TVO building. We finally knew where Chester was!!
We had a great deal of activity from the two older juveniles, who did the tag and talon touch thing again honing their skills for later use in hunting. They eventually settled in different spots and mom brought in some food and baited the youngster who was on Canada Square but he did not fall for it. However his brother who had been on the Rio-Can building flew at and after his mom squawking madly! He followed her all the way south of the TVO building and attempted to take the food from her. Further activity resulted in one peregrine flying to the Rio-Can building and one flying south to end up on the antenna above Chester!
FINALLY we saw Chester fly. He headed for the Canada Square building, south end roof, but just did not have the height and *hit* the side of the building and fluttered down onto the southern ledge. Ten minutes later Bruce confirmed he was okay and at the south west end of the ledge whilst the other two juvies were at the south east end of the same ledge. With that Bruce left for the day and so did Maggie who had been there to enjoy some of the aerial displays.
I chose to stay on. What a performance all put on for me!!!
The female flew to the north end of 411 Duplex apartment building, set all the pigeons to flight and came around the east side of Rio-Can with a pigeon in her talons. One of the juvies appeared and followed her east of Canada Square and tried to take the pigeon from her. She tried to get onto the ledge but did not make it and flew back towards Rio-Can still with the youngster trailing her and squawking madly.
Half an hour later the two older juvies put on another display for me. They flew from the antenna on top of the TVO building, squawking madly, east of the 411 Duplex building, south to the antenna on TVO and over the shorter of the condo towers, tagging and talon touching all the way ! The two juvies eventually landed on top of the condo. One of the juvies flew from the short condo and made a soft contact with one of the windows on the northern condo. He fluttered a couple of floors but was in control and flew away behind that building.
Chester flew to the top of the concrete wall near the nest ledge and sat there for a bit. Nine minutes later he flew towards the Rio-Can building, climbing beautifully but just not high enough to reach the roof. He had soft contact with the ledge and fluttered down a window but flew off over Canada Square, in front of the condo and to the antenna on TVO where he had another soft contact with the antenna and fluttered to the roof top. He walked over to the west ledge and flew from there, over Canada Square to the east side of Rio-Can and missed his perch on the top of the south east corner, flew out and landed on the antenna on top of Canada Square. Who said Chester can`t fly? He flies well enough just can’t land too well yet!! After another aerial display I saw mom drop food on top of Canada Square, sit on the antenna for a few minutes and then leave. One of the older juvies enjoyed the meal.
At 9:00 p.m. one of the juvies flew in from the south west to the taller of the condo buildings and flew into a glass balcony *wall*, fluttered down a couple of floors but was okay and flew off behind the building.
The juvie who had been enjoying dinner on top of Canada Square flew south, circled back and flew into a wall on the tall condo, fluttered down then onto a balcony where he landed on a railing and slipped off. He flew to Rio-Can and back to the same condo and attempted to land on a ledge. He was successful but only spent a couple of minutes on it before flying back to Rio-Can. I checked and Chester was still on the antenna atop Canada Square. I waited a while and finally left at 9:20 p.m. when I felt that everyone was settled.

CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square report Tuesday June 28th 2011
I arrived at 1:30 and found a youngster on the ledge below the nest ledge on the Canada Square building. He was lying flat and so I went for one of Bruce’s walkabouts. A half hour later, coming in from Yonge Street, I spotted the adult male on the roof of the east face of Rio-Can building and the youngster in the same position on the ledge. Just as I got back into position, outside the Police Station, the adult male flew to the antenna on the TVO building. Five minutes later he flew southwest and at the same time a juvenile flew onto the roof, south face, of Rio-Can
There was movement on the ledge and I saw the juvenile stretch one wing and then the other, turn his back on me and do his business, twice! Shortly thereafter he went right into the corner, disappeared from view and I assume went to sleep.
A few minutes after that the female flew over the youngster and then up or down the side of the ledge three times. All he did was squawk. The youngster on the Rio-Can building flew to the Canada Square building, no doubt expecting food but there was none to be had.
Later on I was quite excited as I was so sure I saw five peregrines ALMOST at the same time. Three of them took to the air from somewhere on the east side of Canada Square and flew south past the smaller condo building. I then quickly turned to check the ledge and the one peregrine was there and I caught a fleeting glimpse of what I think was the female on the balcony railing below the nest ledge. When I looked back to find the peregrines in the air I saw only two. So now I don’t know if I saw four or five peregrines. It was exceptionally gusty today so there was not much flying and only in between gusts.
Much later the female flew over Canada Square near the youngster on the ledge, four times. He only looked at her but made no effort to even stand up. Almost three hours after I first arrived, the youngster on the ledge wound up his wings and flew onto the antenna on top of Canada Square. He was really hidden from view. I did not see him leave there as I was indoors at the time.
The female later gave us a display of her aerial prowess. She makes it look so easy. She did a number of touchdowns and takeoffs on the tall condo, the antenna atop the TVO building and the antenna on top of Canada Square.
Bruce did a number of walkabouts and saw different mixtures of adults and young but never five at the same time.
The weather changed and rain came in so Bruce and I packed it in sometime after 7:00 p.m.

Canada Square report Monday June 27th 2011
Bruce was on the beat early again today and after a reasonably uneventful morning where the two fledged juveniles flew distances *there and back* he was brought to his feet, literally, in a hurry at 1:00 p.m.
Young Chester flew today. Bruce happened to look up at 1:00 p.m. to see two birds in the air, one smaller than the other and thought *mom and juvenile*. They flew south over the cinema building and car park area and the larger one came back. Bruce checked to *make sure it was the mom* and was very surprised to discover it was a juvenile. Then the question became *who was the smaller peregrine?*
Bruce set out to check the identity. He checked the ledge from the ground and did not see Chester so he went up to the ledge and looked out only to find no bird on the ledge!!! He did all of the parking lots and areas he could get onto, without seeing the little chap.
Yep Chester had flown. I had a call a little after 1:00 p.m. to say that he had gone. I met Bruce and he set off on a search for Chester. At that point there was no sign of him and we could not see the adults anywhere. Bruce did another thorough search at 2.00 p.m. and found a youngster on the SE corner ledge of Canada Square. We did not see three juveniles between us, at the same time, any time after that.
On Bruce’s many walkabouts he sometimes saw one or both adults sitting on the Condo building, or flying over or near the Canada Square building. Later on when we saw two turkey vultures we had hoped they would bring out the adults from somewhere. However, they were quite high so perhaps not considered a threat and the adults stayed hidden from us.
For a while we had two juveniles on the antenna on top of Canada Square and as I had the scope up we could see their beautiful colours so well. We also determined for sure that who we had were Luke and Buzz. At one point when they were together we thought the one looked smaller than the other and we hoped it was Chester. They each flew off at different times from the antenna.
I returned for the second time after a trip home to find one adult and one juvenile on the ledge north of the nest. Maggie, one of our daily visitors, noticed that the female, who had brought in the food, was actually feeding the juvenile. This was the first time we had seen that! It was normal for us to see her feeding them on the nest ledge but not once they had left.
At one point we had four peregrines in the same area but no Chester. There were two juveniles on the Canada Square nest ledge and the two adults on the railing, one floor below. The female even went onto that lower balcony floor for a few minutes. The adults then flew off. Both juveniles did more flying today and one of them took off from the ledge, flew over Yonge and Eglinton, slightly north-ish and may have been heading for Baffin Island before the female flew in and turned him to fly south over the Bell building, across Eglinton where she brought him down on a white building with a number of chimney-like things on top. The juvenile hit one of those and fluttered from view. The female appeared unconcerned and continued flying back our way. A few minutes later we spotted him on the side of that building looking towards us. Later on he flew back. It was a lengthy flight, over Canada Square, over the black building just south of that and then up Duplex Ave to the apartment building at 411 where he landed on the stairwell roof. After a ten minute break he flew again and circled over the vacant TTC lot and then onto the smaller of the antennae on the Canada Square building. He really is flying well. After five minutes he flew north up Yonge street and out of sight. Shortly thereafter the second juvenile also flew up Yonge street.
We saw the female fly around the Canada Square building and just saw her land on the roof on the east side.
Later on the male flew in to the ledge on the north side of Canada Square with a food package! He was very surprised that no-one flapped and rushed him for it! He even called a number of times without any response. So he picked up the food and flew to the antenna on the TVO building where he made a meal of it.
Eventually the female flew north up Yonge and a while later the male did the same. Bruce made his last round of the area and was unable to find where Chester was bedded down for the night. So we left.

Canada Square report, Sunday June 26th 2011
Bruce was again on duty early this morning. There was some activity at and after his arrival. He found one of the adults hunting up near 520 Duplex Ave. He also saw one of the juveniles make a *long haul flight* over the Canada Square building south to the antenna atop the TVO building. He did not stay there long before flying back.
One of the juveniles flies very well and maintains height. The other one still is not flying too often, nor as far.
When I arrived all three youngsters were on the Canada Square building; one juvie was on the roof, one juvie on the ledge below nest level on the north end and Chester was on the nest ledge.
There was no activity for a long time after my arrival until the female flew to the top of the SE corner of Rio-Can with a pigeon.
The juveniles knew they had to climb to reach food and when the first one took off he flew past the SW corner of Rio-Can to the top of the apartment building. Once he had *rested* he flew around Rio-Can eastwards and turned and came west to the top where the food was. It was a long journey but he gained the height he needed. Number two flew to the top of the apartment building and sat there for a while. He then flew to the top of the SW corner of Rio-Can and sat there for a long time. The female *buzzed* him to try and get him to the SE ledge. Fifteen minutes later he made the flight.
The adult male chased a small bird down Duplex Ave and over the cinema building where he was joined by the female. They both missed the little bird which simply dived down next to the TVO building.
A number of times the female flew up the side of the nest, over the nest or down the side of the nest to try and get Chester to fly. He refused! He did spend a good deal of the late afternoon squawking for food. Bruce said he did not think he had been fed in the morning and he certainly had not been after I arrived.
The two juveniles had a couple of flights where they played follow-me or tag but they were short flights!
On several occasions we did not have the juveniles in sight but the adults were not concerned so we were sure they were close. This proved to be the case as Bruce found them on a number of his walkabouts.
One of the juveniles flew gently into a window on the south face of Rio-Can, flew around the east side, flew back and did the same thing but this time flew around the west side of the building and was gone from view. He lost very little height on both occasions.
Both the adult male and female did a number of sorties out and about and also over the juveniles to try and get them to fly. Each time an adult flew over Canada Square, Chester squawked. It is amazing how loud a hungry peregrine can be. We heard him over all the traffic at the Yonge-Eglinton/Duplex-Eglinton intersections.
Finally he had his way and the female brought in some food. My word there was silence after that. All I could see was feathers flying in wild abandon on that nest ledge. The female stayed with him for a while whilst the adult male devoured a bird, elsewhere, without sharing. The female flew off the ledge did a short trip up Duplex and back on to the ledge.
Bruce went for his *round up walkabout* and came back as pleased as punch! One of the juveniles was sitting on the top of the vertical slabs at the windows on the Heart and Stroke building and the other juvenile was on the same building roof. It took only 4 days for one of them to master the intricate landing on one of those window slabs. We left mother and child, at about 9:00 p.m., on the nest ledge on Canada Square and the two juveniles on the Heart and Stroke building. I came back to look at the nest ledge and watched the mother clean up leftovers for fifteen minutes. Chester was perched on the edge, nestled up to the concrete wall and the female was perched, finally, mid-way along the same ledge when I left at 9:30.

CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square report for Saturday, June 25th 2011.
Bruce was up early this morning to check on the fledgling which was released last night. At 5.45 a.m. he found one adult hunting around the apartment building several streets up Duplex Ave. One juvenile was on top of the Rio-Can building south face. He reports a quiet morning, during which time one juvenile flew more often than the other and even landed, several times, on the crossbar of the antenna atop the Canada Square building. That juvenile walked the length of the crossbar as well.
The second juvenile appeared to be more laid back and flew above the Rio-Can roof a couple of times. He did not make as many flights as his brother. Bruce saw one of the fledglings fly up to the top ledge of the *Heart and Stroke* building which is thirty floors high. The really good thing is that both of the juveniles are keeping their height now!
Chester is still on the nest ledge on the Canada Square building. He spent a lot of his time, whilst I was watching, tucked away and sleeping. The adult male landed on the ledge and flew off and this woke up young Chester who really had his wings exercising for some minutes after the male left. Chester was right on the edge going through these exercises and I felt he was going to slip and land on the ledge below the nest. Fortunately this did not happen!
Bruce saw all three youngsters about every two hours.
In the afternoon, before I arrived, Bruce saw the female fly south, *with intent*, from the Rio-Can building. The male, who was perched on the antenna on top of the TVO building followed her, also *with intent*. When Bruce followed them through the binoculars he saw a turkey vulture flying in lazy circles around Davisville area. The peregrine pair saw it off!
After I arrived we saw one of the adults bring in food. At first we thought it was going to go onto the nest ledge on Canada Square but the peregrine only went around the side so as to gain a little height with the slighter longer distance, to reach the top of the Rio-Can building. This was left for the juvenile on the top south east ledge. Much later the mom took the remains of the food from this ledge and into the nest ledge for Chester. He disappeared for a good long while.
Later the adult male flew to and from the Rio-Can building, several times, and finally coaxed one of the youngsters to fly. I admit this youngster only circled the Rio-Can building and then settled down again.
Everyone seemed to settle down for the night and at about 9:00 p.m. we called it a day and left. We believe that Luke and Buzz were on the roof tops of Rio-Can and Heart and Stroke when we left. The two adults were on the south face of the Rio-Can and quite settled. Young Chester put himself to bed on the nest ledge on Canada Square.
Cheers

CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square update June 23rd - 2011 - Day watch observations:
Bruce had a busy early morning ! He arrived just before 7:00 a.m. to find both fledglings on the Canada Square building. Sometime early this morning the first juvenile to fly must have found his way back up to the level below the *nest ledge*. A little later Luke flew from the ledge, on Canada Square, to the north Minto tower and landed on a balcony behind the glass barrier on the 32nd floor. Just when Bruce thought that young fledgling peregrine was trapped, he finally managed to jump onto the railing and eventually ended up one floor down, once again trapped behind the glass. His mom sat guard over him for ages and flew just before the second storm came in.
Bruce and I walked over to the Minto building to try and gain access to effect a rescue but were unable to at that point. After a couple more attempts, in between rain showers, I went home briefly and when I returned Bruce had gone to rescue Luke.
Canada Square kindly allowed us to put Luke in a secure, quiet and dark spot until he could be released back onto a ledge at the nest building.
The watch continued, between showers, over Buzz who was quite happy with his perch on Canada Square. We also kept an eye on Chester who is left on the nest ledge.
When the adult peregrines were not perched due to rain they flew a number of sorties, keeping tabs on the young and hunting. Buzz had been fed on the ledge he was on and was not inclined to move too much – so we thought!
He had been exercising his wings later in the afternoon and was right at the edge but always settled back and relaxed, except for the last time. He flew off the north face of Canada Square around to the west side and was doing well over the roof at which point the female had reached him and encouraged him to land on the roof, which he did. He had several flights, one of which was quite lengthy and actually took him as far south as the south Minto building where he flew gently into a window, fluttered down a couple of floors, recovered and with help and encouragement from mom actually flew back onto the south eastern end of the Canada Square building.
After losing a fair bit of height he made it all up in one flight, without a rest!!! Extra pairs of eyes, from a couple who are extremely interested in our birds, helped us keep tabs on who was where!! Thanks folks!
He eventually ended up on the Rio-Can building for the night. Mom was just below him on one of the window uprights.
Tracy was instrumental in releasing Luke back to the nest building but not without a few surprises. She took him to the lower balcony, one floor below the nest ledge on the Canada Square building, and had just stepped out when this vision came at her out of the dark! Mom had seen the activity on the balcony, probably remembered banding time, and just flew at Tracy who managed to get inside in the nick of time. On the second attempt Luke was released successfully without further incident. I will leave Tracy to fill in the gaps J
So final count was; Luke on the balcony waiting for morning light and Chester on the nest ledge both on Canada Square, Buzz on the top level and mom one below him on Rio-Can. I cannot remember where Tracy said the male was. All safe and accounted for and no-one injured after all their adventures!!
Cheers

CPF Postmaster Reports:
Canada Square report Thursday June 23rd 2011.
I arrived today and Bruce came in shortly thereafter. One youngster was on the ledge directly below the nest ledge, just sitting. The male was on the top of the third wall south of the nest and there was no sign of anyone else UNTIL we saw a fledgling on the NE corner of the cinema building (black building). We had one FLEDGLING and one *LEDGLING*. Not for long.
The first bird to fly took off over that black building towards Yonge Street and with that Bruce also took off. He had the youngster in sight for quite some time until it flew between the two Rio-Can buildings. Bruce came back to *base camp* to catch his breath. The adults were flying in different directions at times and the female did land on the nest ledge. That is when I saw the youngest flap his wings.
After a short respite Bruce saw juvenile number two fly onto the same cinema building but down the Duplex Ave side and towards the South end of the building. In between short, sharp, showers we watched number two make his way up to the north end of the building. He walked along the northern ledge a couple of times. The weather cleared and Bruce went looking for juvenile number one.
Juvenile number two thought this an opportune moment to fly from the north end of the cinema building to the south and he accomplished this very well. However, on reaching the south end and applying the brakes his momentum carried him over the edge and there was nothing under him. He recovered very well and kept flapping and flew over Duplex, over some of the trees and homes, behind the Police Station, over Eglinton and the Bell building and Hydro building. He kept going east, over Duplex again, and right onto a fifteenth floor balcony of the apartment building. I called Bruce and as I did so the peregrine and Bruce materialised at the same time. The juvenile had jumped back onto the railing of the balcony. Both the adults had flown to Duplex Avenue when the juvenile disappeared there. They flew off. However shortly after that the female flew back and perched atop the antenna on the hydro building. She stayed there until number two flew again, over the building at the corner of Duplex and Eglinton, gained height and got himself back onto the ledge below the nest ledge on Canada Square!! He stayed put, thank goodness. Did not quite make it to the same spot from which he had left hours earlier, but back to the same height!!
Number one was found when he flew - gently – into the south face of Rio-Can about four floors up. He fluttered down a floor and flew back around the corner to the east side of that building. We think he is between the two towers on the low roof above the mall.
This all took place over a period of five and a half hours and for most of that time Bruce was on his feet keeping an eye on, or looking for, number one.
Bruce thinks I am to blame for this activity today, because he claims that yesterday I said *I just hope we don’t have two fledge at once*. I, of course, deny all knowledge of that conversation
Cheers
Lynn
