We believe that is what Freddy and Voltaire are having right now because the four fledgings are flying all around and rarely seen in the nest. A couple of evenings ago we stopped by to check things out, while we were there Voltaire was sitting in the nest box, then flew off to the Church Steeple, then to the pipe and then to the ledge just below the nest. There she spent quite a while preening herself. We were there for over three hours and didn’t see Freddy or any of the four kids, he must be still busy teaching them all the skills needed to fly and catch their meals. It was wonderful to see the WPFW Team. What a great year we have been enjoying.
