June 21st - 2012Hello!!
I hope you don’t mind mulitple reports. We had multiple visits today - two from Euro, and one from Olympia. Olympia came by around 9:00am and stayed till about 9:45am. She was quite noisy and eeeeeeeet eeeeeeeeeet eeeeeeeet’d a lot. She ultimately stretched her wings and flew away.
Euro came by about 15 - 20 minutes later. He stayed for about an hour, walking back and forth on the ledge, then napping a bit, and hanging out in the shade. We all enjoyed working and watching him.
Euro came back a bit later - around 11am. He looked very hot and was breathing heavily with his beak open. He stayed next to the window in the shade. We are not sure if he brought it with him, or mom dropped it off, but a bit later he was eating a pigeon wing. He flew off about 10 minutes later, having stayed about a half hour.
We have seen all 3 of them zooming around practicing flying, sometimes landing above us on the roof of the west tower.
