CPF Postmaster Reports:

We have much better news to report today!!
We are very pleased to report today after speaking with Bruce, that he was able to confirm with the building management that the resident peregrines at the Canada Square at Yonge & Eglinton are currently incubating at least 3 eggs. With the assistance and support of building management allowing Bruce access to the upper floors to get a visual of the new nest site through the windows, Bruce was able to confirm that the resident adult female was in fact involved in full time incubation.
While Bruce was only able to see a single egg during this visit, it was quite obvious to him that the adult female had other eggs under her.
It appears that the pair have chosen a different ledge to nest on this year, but the ledge is still on the upper elevations on the west side of the building.
I have included new photos of the west side of the building high-lighting the new nest ledge with an arrow where the pair have chosen to set up house this year.
Fingers crossed that the pair are successful again this year in hatching and producing young!
Stay tuned…….
