!!! Freddie’s Background
May 24, 2009 - Windsor - Ambassador Bridge
Dennis Patrick Reports:
I thought why not post the response that got us Freddie’s background from Ohio.We were pleased as punch. Thanks to Scott @ Ohio Wildlife
Dennis and Gwen:
This is the first report I have of Freddie so who knows what he has been doing the last 6 years. He was banded on May 21, 2001 at the Commodore Perry Hotel in Toledo, Ohio. There were 4 young in the nest box that year Gabrielle, Frieda, Freddie and B.G. Frieda, Freddie and B.G. are named after Bowling Green State University located in Bowling Green, Ohio that is about 15 miles from the nest site. The mascot of the university is the Falcons. We actually had the mascots Frieda and Freddie at the banding. The adults that year were male Fury *G/A and an unnamed female *7/X.
Voltiare is from another district of the state. I have forwarded your request to them.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I would appreciate several digital photos as I will forward the information to Bowling Green State University. They may want to contact someone about the nest site. I will give them your contact email or if you prefer, please provide another contact.
Thanks
Scott
