Some Good Flights Between Storms
June 15, 2008 - Etobicoke - Sun Life Centre
CPF Volunteer Reports:
Today was not the most eventful day,but thats not a bad thing. Each of the 3 young Peregrines made a few flights today. Most were shortish ones between the 2 condo towers and the Sun Life Centre. At least 2 feedings were observed. One of the female chicks..I believe it was Screech took a good flight to the first tower of the Centre, before spending the nite on a window ledge of the first condo. Diana will be there bright and early to keep an eye on her. Perry made a few short flights today, his first since his release yesterday. He was atop the nest building when we left. Sunny was atop the first condo when we left at 10pm. Joan Boardman and friends were by today, before the ugly weather started. Mark brought a canopy for us to have shelter from the sun..it sure came in handy to hide from the huge thunderstorms for Kathy,Renee and myself in the early afternoon and Marion and I later in the day. We even had hail! All of the Falcons weathered the storms fine.
