With many thanks to Christina Piansoni, she was kind enough to send in some great photos of the entire family on the nest ledge in Etobicoke captured on Thursday June 12th 2008. we’re not likely to see many more shots like this now that the juveniles have all fledged. Remember that the young fledglings are still solely dependant on their adult parents for food and protection for the next 30 to 90 days as they are being tought to fly and then they will be be tought what food to hunt. This process takes many weeks before the fledglings are skilled enough to actually catch their own food.
