!!! Fledge Watch To Begin June 10th

CPF Volunteer Reports:
June 10th our annual fledgling watch will begin! While early days are generally marked by little activity,like our weather,things heat up fast!
At this most critical time each year,volunteers patrol the streets around The Sun Life Centre around Islington and Bloor. The young Peregrines will soon make their maiden flights. Often they do not stay aloft,and flutter down to the streets below. Thats when Fledge Watch volunteers are called upon to go into action. The newly fledged Peregrine Falcon is rescued and given another chance to take to the sky.
Look for us on Eagle Rd. the best vantage point to view the nest ledge. Please join us,whether its for a quick look and to learn abit about the Peregrines or to help out with the watch. Action will become fast and furious over the next few weeks!
