June 9, 1998 -- A new experience was observed this
year.
Instead of waiting for the chicks to fledge, the parents starting bring food to the
nesting ledge and leaving it for the chicks to eat by themselves. Here, Victoria watches
to see how her offspring will deal with this new adventure in their lives.
