July 13th, 2006 -- Sonyador was found dead in this location. The photographer explains:
She was found at the penthouse level, in a large open space on the roof, in an air intake. The walls around are approx 15' high. There were several other avian species also found dead in this same area, apparently all unable to get out of the small enclosed area. There is simply not enough horizontal space/room for any the birds captured in this area to get the vertical lift that they would need to get out. It's simply straight up!! It is the fresh air intake area for the diesel generator.
