Raptor Identification - Species Portraits

One of the regular features of Talon Tales, the newsletter of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation, is the Species Portrait - an article which details the identification, natural history, and conservation status of one or more of North America's raptor species.  Articles for selected species have now been added to CPF's Species Identification pages and galleries.

Think you might have seen a Peregrine Falcon but aren't sure?
Check out our Species gallery pages and Identification Tips. Merlins and Accipiters, especially, are often mistaken for Peregrines.
