About 3:45pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday the 19th) a Red-tailed Hawk landed on my balcony. I live on the 9th floor facing south at a building at the corner of Isabella and Church Sts. Toronto.

I couldn't see any bands on this bird, but I never did get much of a view of its ankles. It stayed the night. It was there when I left for work, but gone when I got home at lunch time. It left a lot of poop tho:-)

I've also seen a red-tailed hawk circling in my area a couple of times over the last few days.
