July 2005 -- (from Bill Camp:) The young Coopers are now 5 weeks old. All 5 are healthy and are starting to hunt for themselves. They started flying right around 4 weeks and spread out over the yard. The first day they did this mom and pa got very nervous when I walked back there. I thought I'd be attacked. This bird is the largest of the young, probably the first one hatched.
