Project School Visit:
Winston Churchill Public School (Kingston)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In December 2000, we visited Kingston's Winston Churchill Public School with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from the school:

I am pleased to write in support of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation's presentation to our school which took place earlier this year at our school.  The approximately 50 minute presentation, which included a live falcon, was highly informative and very interesting to our Primary, Junior, and Intermediate students.  The presenter was articulate and knowledgeable and used questions effectively to draw in his audience.

I would recommend this presentation to other schools who are interested in educating students about Canadian wildlife and wildlife protection.

Sincerely,

B. Hunter
Principal
