Project School Visit:
Willow Road Public School (Guelph)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In January 2001, we visited Willow Road Public School in Guelph, with our ten-year-old female peregrine falcon "Qetesh".  Below are some comments from the school:

I wanted to write you a note to say how much my grade six class enjoyed the peregrine falcon presentation last week.  The presentation was very enjoyable and informative.  As a teacher, I particularly appreciated how well the presentation coincided with our curriculum.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, and they learned a surprisingly large amount of information in a very short period of time.  The presenter seemed very comfortable in front of that particular age group, and he captured their interest for the entire length of the session.  The presentation was very well done and very age-appropriate.  I am thrilled that such wonderful programs are offered in our schools.

Thank you for including us in your program!

Yours sincerely,

Cathy Dykstra
grade 6 teacher
