In April 2000, we visited Westvale Public School in Waterloo with our 13-year-old male peregrine falcon "Pablo". We haven't received any feedback from the students, but here is a letter from the school:
A
member of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation came to Westvale Public School on
April 20 to do a presentation on falcons to the junior students. Staff and
students were all delighted by the excellence of the overall presentation and
the thrill of seeing one of these magnificent birds up so close. Thank you
very much for allowing us this opportunity. It was very much appreciated,
especially as we feel that preserving a strong environmental ethic is an absolute necessity in these current times.
Yours in education,
George Masurkevitch
