Project School Visit:
Westminster Public School (Thornhill)
Visit sponsored by: TD
Friends of the
Environment Foundation
In May 2002, we visited Thornhill's
Westminster Public School with our female peregrine falcon, "Ariel". Below
is a letter from the principal:
This is a letter to thank you for the Canadian Peregrine Foundation
for the wonderful presentation our students enjoyed Monday June 3,
2002. The speaker was very knowledgeable and the information she
presented about endangered species and the peregrine falcon was
well-targeted towards the grade 4 and 6 curriculums. Our
students found the information quite fascinating and especially
enjoyed having a live falcon visit us.
Thank you so much for contacting us. We hope that you will visit
us again so that other students may benefit from this worthwhile and
unique experience.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rifka Eisenstat
Principal
