In February 2001, we visited London's University Heights Public School with our ten-year-old female peregrine falcon "Qetesh". Below are a couple of drawings and letters from the students.

I am very glad that our school is one of the lucky ones
who got to see a presentation of an endangered species, a peregrine
falcon. I learned a lot of things and had a lot of fun. I'm
sure everyone enjoyed having Qetesh here. Every living creature is
important, so I think we humans should help all endangered
species. On eof the things I think would help is not allowing DDT
in the world. It was great having you here and please come back!

Thank you for that wonderful
presentation on peregrine falcons. Qetesh was such a cute
bird. It's amazing how old animals can get and not look it.
I learned many new things I hope that the number of falcons will
increase and I think we all now know to protect falcons.
Yours truly, Joy |
