In April 2002 we visited Timothy Christian School in Williamsburg with our female peregrine falcon "Penny". Below is a letter from the school:
We
really enjoyed the presentations by biologist David Pfeffer. Our students
learned a lot, asked many good questions and truly appreciated the opportunity
to see a falcon. Many of them had studied falcons in their coursework and
this was a great "show and tell".
All of our students, from SK to grade 8, were able to see the bird and
participate in the talks. As principal, I was pleased to be able to
present to our student body such an interesting program. I thank you for
your
assistance in bringing this presentation to TCS.
Sincerely,
Gary Postma
Principal
