Project School Visit:
St. Michael School (Woodstock)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited Woodstock's St. Michael School with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from the school:

On behalf of the students who participated in the Peregrine Falcon presentations, I would like to thank you for the opportunity.  The presentation by David Pfeffer was well received by students and staff.  The success of the presentations is reflected in the behaviour of the students and the quality of the questions asked after the presentation.

Our awareness for conservation of falcons andother species has been heightened because of the wonderful message delivered by David and Scotty.  It is a message specifically related to the curriculum and one that supported the work of our teachers in the classroom.  What a wonderful way to make learning come alive!  We hope to see you in our school again sometime soon.

Sincerely,

B.E. Babington
Principal
