Project School Visit:
St. Joseph's School (Simcoe)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited Simcoe's St. Joseph's School with our nine-year-old female peregrine falcon "Ariel".  Below are some comments from the school:

A note of thanks for making it possible to have David Pfeffer come to St. Joseph's on Friday, February 16th for the afternoon.

David presented to two groups of our students and did an excellent job.  He was well prepared for his presentation and shared a great deal of information.  David also established an excellent rapport with his audiences and capably entertained student questions.  Ariel, the peregrine falcon, was definitely the centre of attraction and a tremendous hit with all of the students.

David's presentation tied in well with the curriculum topics for our Junior/Intermediate students.  Please express our thank you to Canada Trust Friends of the Environment Foundation for sponsoring this event.

We look forward to a repeat performance.

Sincerely,

Patrick McElhone
Principal
