In January 2001, we visited Etobicoke's Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School with our 2-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty". Below are some comments from the school:
On behalf of the grade 4, 6, and 7 classes of Our Lady of Sorrows School, I would like to thank you for the wonderful presentation on peregrine falcons on Wednesday January 31, 2001. The presentation was both interesting and informative. The highlight was, of course, seeing Scotty, the peregrine falcon. It was an incredible opportunity to see such a magnificent bird up close. The presentation, which addressed issues resulting the endangered status of such birds, left all our students much to think about and reflect on. Thank you again for a great experience!
