Project School Visit:
Saint James the Apostle School (Stoney Creek)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited St. James the Apostle School in Stoney Creek with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from the school:

On behalf of St. James the Apostle School we would like to thank you for providing our students with such an inspirational and informative presentation.  All of the teachers agree that the presentation is very useful in teaching the new curriculum.

The grade 6 students will be able to use the fabulous resource booklet when they teach their unit on Diversity of Living Things.  The grade 7 teachers also appreciate the ties to curriculum.  They commented on how versed the presenter was and how he knew when to refocus the students to keep them well motivated.  Finally the Grade 4 teachers were very pleased with the information presented.  The students were very interested and particularly enjoyed meeting the falcon.

Once again on behalf of our school community, thank you for your time and effort in providing us with such an enriching experience.

God Bless

Staff and Students of St. James
