In May 2001, we visited Welland's École du Sacré-Coeur with our adult female peregrine falcon "Ariel". Below is a letter from the school's principal:
The staff and students at École du Sacré-Coeur wish to thank you for the excellent presentation given in May on the Peregrine Falcon.
The presentation was very well adapted to the student's level and according to the Ontario Curriculum. It was interesting for the students, staff, and parents and the handouts were used to make a follow-up lesson. It also raised awareness of animal protection and the possible extinction of Peregrine Falcons. The students were able to see the beauty of a Peregrine Falcon and understand the need to protect such a beautiful creature.
