In June 2001 we visited Brampton's Robert J. Lee Public School with our female peregrine falcon "Ariel". Below is a letter from the school:
Just a short note to thank the Friends of the Environment Foundation and the Canadian Peregrien Foundation for their informative and exciting presentation here at RJLee PS and our visiting school Larkspur PS in June 2001. The grade 6 students from both schools helped to incorporate the visitation of a live Peregrine Falcon into their study of natural habitats and flight. The presenter, David Pfeffer, was wonderfully enthusiastic. He responded appropriately to student questions and helped to really develop a keen interest on the part of his whole audience.
Once again, thank you for your wonderful support of this marvelous programme. It is especially important to city dwelling students to be exposed to nature. Only be educating the young do we hope to preserve this planet. Many thanks.
