In June 2000, we visited Quaker Village Public School in Uxbridge with our one-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty". We haven't received any feedback from the students, but here is a letter from the school:
We wish to extend our sincerest appreciation to the Peregrine Foundation for their support in providing the opportunity for our students to view a live peregrine falcon and to have a member of your organization speak to our students. The students learned a great deal about the peregrine falcon and about endangered species in general. They asked many questions and were very excited by having a beautiful and real peregrine falcon in front of them! The presentation was conducted in an interesting, informative, and professional manner.
We hope that we will have another opportunity to have a representative enlighten out students and share with them more about Canada's wildlife and about the peregrine falcon. Please accept our sincerest thanks for allowing our students to be part of this opportunity provided by your organization.
Sincerely,
R. De Jong, Principal
