In May 2002, we visited Thorndale's Plover Mills Public School with our female peregrine falcon "Ariel". Below is a letter from the school:
Last
week, our class / school had the pleasure of a one hour presentation of the
Canadian Peregrine Foundation. Both students and teachers enjoyed the
program. The kids loved the 'real' falcon and wanted to write back, to
thank your Foundation for visiting our school. Also, thank you to the
Friends of the Environment Foundation for their sponsorship. Our class
made it relate to the Ontario curriculum in the area of science. The video
was also great!
Sincerely,
James S.
