Project School Visit:
Park Dale Public School (Belleville)
Visit sponsored by: TD
Friends of the
Environment Foundation
In June 2002, we visited Belleville's
Park Dale Public School with our female peregrine falcon, "Ariel". Below
is a letter from a teacher:
The peregrine falcon presentation was very informative and appealing to
our grade four and grade six students. The presenter was
knowledgeable about the foundation and the peregrine falcon. She
presented the information in a friendly manner and gave time for students
to ask questions. Having a real falcon to show to the students added
to the overall presentation. The video and resources which have been
left at the school will give the teachers an opportunity to engage in
follow-up activities. A very worthwhile presentation for the
students. Thank you for including our school to be selected as one
of the ones to receive the presentation.
